points i've been meditating over... "paths" (life eternal and this earthly existence) - "FULL OF GLADNESS WITH YOUR PRESENCE."

as i'm studying through the prayers in the pauline epistles, this seems to really fit with wednesday's thinking...
'And as they went out of Jericho, a great crowd followed him. And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" And stopping, Jesus called them and said, "What do you want me to do for you?" They said to him, "Lord, let our eyes be opened." am i crying out desperately for open eyes? do i care what the crowd says? Jesus please touch me that i might see YOUR glory!!!
"but the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL; against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23
i read through all of galatians today and was just struck by the "why?" of the law, and this small comment tagged on at the end of the fruit of the Spirit. when i do as i ought, there is no law. usually, if i am complaining about a rule, it is often because i am breaking it. maybe i should just do as i ought...
"if we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit." galatians 5:25
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.
But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies."

used this passage for two different meetings yesterday - i'm still meditating on it - chewing on everything it says...
"And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Joshua." numbers 13:16
interesting... "hoshea" means "salvation", "joshua" means "the Lord is salvation"... the greek equivalent of "joshua"? "JESUS"
"the Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall i fear? the Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall i be afraid?" psalm 27:1
