Volume 2: Ferris Wheels to Freedom
a beacon for a ship adrift in a perilous sea
Home
i guess you could say that my nature's addictive OR if you prefer, simply refer to as 'title track'
To see my idols, look no further than me.
sadly, my prevalent state...
off track, in the underbrush
a beacon for a ship adrift in a perilous sea
revolutions have started over less than this
a slow death of blissful ignorance by the hand of shallow relationship

there are times in my humanity
when i am tempted to toss in the towel
surrounded by my own weakness and frailty
when faced with my own limited ability
i see no light at the end of the tunnel
no open door to freedom
no window of opportunity
(even one way up high that i could reach by climbing)
BUT
when i remember Your deity
Your divinity
i am reminded that Your will IS
good, pleasing and perfect!
and that You can do
immeasurably more than all i ask or imagine!
God, my hope lies in You alone
apart from You, i am hopeless.

"immediately the boy's father exclaimed, 'i do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!'"                              mark 9:24

"but he said to me, 'my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' therefore i will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."                          2 corinthians 12:9
